Built on Aviation. Driven by Innovation.

The story of Flyvision began in the summer of 2010, founded by aviation enthusiast, photographer, and drone pioneer Gvido Puķe.

The journey started with an ambitious photography project — "Latvia from a Bird's Eye View." Together with fellow pilots from the ultralight aviation community, Gvido flew across Latvia documenting breathtaking landscapes, architecture, and historical landmarks from the air.

During this project, the team experimented with one of the first professional multicopter platforms in the Baltics — a custom-built Lithuanian drone based on the German Mikrokopter system.

That moment changed everything.

Seeing the flexibility, efficiency, and creative possibilities of drones compared to traditional aircraft, it became clear that unmanned aviation would transform the future of aerial imaging.

Growing Together with Drone Technology

Flyvision was established during the very early days of the commercial drone industry.

Long before drones became mainstream, we designed and built our own aircraft, combining aviation engineering with professional cinematography.

Our evolution followed the industry's technological progress:

  • Custom-built DJI Naza platforms

  • DJI Wookong

  • DJI A2 & A3 flight controllers

  • Pixhawk systems

  • Early DJI Phantom series

  • Industrial and enterprise drone platforms

  • Today's latest professional cinema and inspection drones

More than a decade later, Flyvision continues to test, develop, and operate cutting-edge UAS technology across multiple industries.

Solving Complex Challenges

Flyvision quickly became known for delivering solutions where standard drones simply weren't enough.

We designed custom long-range aircraft and specialized drone systems for government organizations, infrastructure projects, forestry, surveying, and industrial clients.

Our experience includes developing mission-specific platforms capable of operating in demanding environments where reliability and precision are essential.

Aviation precision combined with cinematic creativity has allowed Flyvision to become one of the Baltic region's most experienced aerial cinematography teams.

Our pilots and camera operators have contributed to internationally recognized productions, including:

  • Justice League

  • Chernobyl (HBO)

  • International television series

  • Commercial campaigns

  • High-end advertising productions

Beyond traditional aerial filming, we've executed complex aerial stunt sequences, custom flying rigs, and technically challenging visual effects for major brands including Bite and LMT.

Over the years, our operations have taken us across Europe, the United States, Kazakhstan, and many other international filming locations.
